Your Opportunity as an Operations Engineering Intern As an intern with in O perations , you will work with operating technicians and salaried employees to collect data and learn the manufacturing process to create process improvement opportunities, complete and manage projects, and effectively document and communicate results . Location: Scottsville, KY Work Arrangements: On-site , 100% in - person expectation In this role you will: Work closely with manufacturing technicians on the plant floor to develop process improvement areas and understand manufacturing processes C oordinate activities of contractors, hourly technicians , and other resources P repare standard reports and documentation to communicate results M anage projects holistically fro m scope development, capital appropriation, implementation, commissioning, and verification Collect, analyze, and utilize data to execute improvements while i nterfacing with salaried employees and technicians to deliver effective initia tives What we are looking for: A rising junior or senior standing in school with r equisite educational experience in engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industria l engineering is preferred . Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
