What We're Looking For: Design and implement cloud microservices that integrate with Android Enterprise / EMM APIs , Device Policy Manager , for device provisioning and policy control. Working experience on serverless platform like firebase Build and maintain secure APIs and orchestration layers to manage large fleets of Zebra Android devices. Develop workflows for device enrollment, compliance reporting, OTA updates , and remote commands . Collaborate with Android platform and device firmware teams to align DPC (Device Policy Controller) behavior with cloud orchestration. Implement and scale event-driven data pipelines for telemetry ingestion and policy distribution . Ensure security, scalability, and observability across multi-tenant cloud deployments (GCP) . Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science , Engineering, or related field. 5+ years' experience developing scalable cloud backend systems or SaaS services. preferred 2+ years hands-on experience with Android Enterprise / EMM APIs such as: o Android Management API (AMAPI) o Play EMM API o Zero-Touch Enrollment API o Device Policy Manager and related Android SDK APIs Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, ReactJS Experience with RESTful APIs , OAuth2 , JWT , and enterprise authentication mechanisms. Solid understanding of containerized microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills Experience working with EMM or MDM platforms (e.g., Esper, VMware Workspace ONE, SOTI, or Intune). Understanding enterprise mobility and Android provisioning workflows at scale. Data processing workflows which can handle large amounts of data ingress and processing Up-to-date knowledge of cloud computing trends, technologies, and best practices. Experience in optimizing cloud costs Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Familiarity with Zebra Mobility Extensions (MX), OEMConfig , or Android system services. Exposure device telemetry, OTA orchestration , or IoT/edge connectivity . If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one.
