Performance Marketing Specialist – Google Ads, Meta Ads & LinkedIn Ads Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Time Zones About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to build, manage, optimize, and scale paid media campaigns across multiple digital advertising platforms. This is a hands-on performance marketing role , not a strategy-only position. You’ll be actively managing campaigns, analyzing performance, testing creatives and audiences, troubleshooting conversion tracking, and making daily optimizations designed to improve ROAS, CPL, CPA, and overall conversion performance . You’ll work across: Google Ads Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) LinkedIn Ads YouTube Ads Display advertising Retargeting and paid acquisition channels If you enjoy turning campaign data into measurable growth and know how to scale paid media without sacrificing efficiency, this role is a strong fit. What You’ll Own Paid Media Campaign Management Build, launch, and manage campaigns across: Google Ads Meta Ads Manager LinkedIn Ads YouTube Ads Display and retargeting platforms You’ll: Develop campaigns for lead generation, conversions, remarketing, and brand awareness. Structure campaigns, ad groups, audiences, and targeting effectively. Manage budgets and bid strategies. Build and refine audience segments. Monitor campaign delivery and performance daily. Manage multiple campaigns or accounts simultaneously. Campaign Optimization & Scaling Take direct ownership of paid media performance. You’ll continuously optimize: Cost Per Click (CPC) Cost Per Lead (CPL) Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) Click-Through Rate (CTR) Conversion Rate Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) You’ll: Identify underperforming campaigns quickly. Adjust bids, budgets, targeting, placements, and audiences. Improve ad relevance and conversion efficiency. Identify winning campaigns and scaling opportunities. Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining performance. Make data-backed optimization decisions rather than relying on assumptions. Creative Testing & Funnel Optimization Develop structured testing programs across: Headlines Ad copy Creatives Audiences Calls-to-action Landing pages Collaborate with designers and content teams to develop stronger advertising assets based on campaign data. Analyze funnel performance to identify: Conversion bottlenecks Landing-page friction Messaging gaps Audience-quality issues Opportunities to improve conversion rates Translate performance data into clear recommendations for creative and funnel improvements. Conversion Tracking, Analytics & Attribution Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot tracking using: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Tag Manager Meta Pixel Platform conversion tracking Attribution systems Ensure accurate measurement across paid campaigns, landing pages, and conversion funnels. You’ll: Validate conversion events. Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies. Analyze user behavior and conversion paths. Identify funnel drop-offs. Maintain reliable attribution and reporting. Ensure optimization decisions are based on accurate data. Reporting & Performance Insights Prepare clear, actionable performance reporting covering: ROAS CPL CPA CPC CTR Conversion rates Lead volume Revenue contribution Budget efficiency Provide weekly campaign summaries that clearly communicate: What is performing well. What is underperforming. What has been changed. What should be tested next. Where additional budget can be deployed profitably. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: Marketing teams Designers Content teams Sales teams Leadership Ensure paid acquisition efforts align with broader revenue and marketing objectives. Support integrated marketing initiatives involving: Paid media SEO Email marketing Organic content Lead nurturing Required Experience & Skills Core Requirements 3+ years of hands-on paid media or performance marketing experience. Strong practical experience with: Google Ads Meta Ads Manager LinkedIn Ads Proven experience managing and optimizing paid campaigns directly. Demonstrated ability to: Reduce CPA and CPL. Improve ROAS. Increase conversion rates. Scale successful campaigns profitably. Strong understanding of: PPC Conversion tracking Attribution Retargeting Funnel optimization Audience targeting Hands-on experience with: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Tag Manager Meta Pixel Reporting dashboards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal English communication. Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours. Nice-to-Have Experience Lead generation campaign experience. E-commerce paid media experience. Experience building retargeting funnels. Experience managing multiple advertising accounts or client portfolios. Experience managing significant monthly advertising budgets. Familiarity with: HubSpot Salesforce Marketo Marketing automation platforms Google Ads Certification. Meta advertising certifications. Experience collaborating with creative teams on performance-driven ad assets. What Makes You a Strong Fit You: Think in terms of ROAS, CPA, CPL, conversions, and revenue , not just clicks and impressions. Are comfortable spending significant time directly inside advertising platforms. Know when to optimize, when to test, and when to scale. Can diagnose why a campaign is underperforming. Understand the relationship between ads, audiences, landing pages, tracking, and conversions. Combine analytical thinking with creative experimentation. Make decisions based on data. Proactively identify performance issues instead of waiting for instructions. Take ownership of campaign outcomes. What a Typical Day Looks Like Your day may include: Reviewing campaign dashboards and overnight performance. Monitoring spend, conversions, CPA, CPL, and ROAS. Adjusting budgets and bid strategies. Optimizing audiences, keywords, placements, and targeting. Launching new Google, Meta, or LinkedIn campaigns. Reviewing creative performance and planning new A/B tests. Analyzing landing-page and funnel conversion rates. Troubleshooting GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, or conversion-tracking issues. Collaborating with designers on new advertising creatives. Reviewing retargeting performance. Preparing campaign reports and optimization recommendations. Identifying opportunities to scale winning campaigns.
