Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Outbound Sales & Lead Generation | Remote Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and appointment setting. This is a hands-on outbound sales role where you’ll identify target accounts, connect with decision-makers, and turn cold prospects into qualified meetings for the sales team. You’ll focus on: Cold calling Email and LinkedIn outreach B2B lead generation Prospect research Appointment setting Sales sequences and cadences CRM and pipeline management If you’re confident starting conversations with new prospects, comfortable with high-volume outreach, and motivated by targets and measurable results, this role is a strong fit. What You’ll Own Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation Build targeted prospect lists using: LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo Apollo Crunchbase Similar prospecting platforms Research target companies and identify relevant decision-makers Personalize outreach based on industry, role, company, and potential business needs Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of outbound prospects Consistently identify new opportunities for the sales team Cold Calling & Multi-Channel Outreach Execute outbound prospecting across: Phone Email LinkedIn Video messaging You will: Conduct approximately 30–40 cold calls per day Complete 60–100 outbound activities per day Engage decision-makers and communicate value clearly Handle objections confidently and professionally Build rapport quickly with cold prospects Qualify interest and convert conversations into booked meetings Sales Cadences & Outreach Campaigns Build and execute multi-touch outbound sequences Run 5–10 touchpoint campaigns across multiple channels Test and optimize: Subject lines Email messaging Cold call scripts Value propositions Calls-to-action Continuously improve response rates and meeting conversion rates Follow up consistently without allowing qualified prospects to fall through the cracks CRM & Pipeline Management Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in: Salesforce HubSpot Zoho CRM Similar CRM platforms You’ll: Log prospect interactions and outreach activity Update lead stages and statuses Track follow-ups and next steps Maintain strong CRM hygiene Ensure pipeline activity remains accurate and visible to the sales team Qualification & Sales Handoff Qualify prospects based on fit, need, interest, and buying potential Book qualified meetings for Account Executives Provide clear context and notes before handoff Coordinate closely with AEs to improve meeting quality Gather feedback on lead quality and continuously refine prospecting efforts Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Account Executives on targeting and lead handoffs Collaborate with marketing on messaging and campaign alignment Share prospect feedback, objections, and market insights Contribute to improvements in outreach strategy and sales processes Required Experience & Skills Must-Have 1–2+ years of experience in: Sales Development Business Development Outbound Sales Lead Generation Hands-on experience with cold calling and email outreach Comfortable conducting high-volume outbound activity Experience using sales engagement tools such as: Outreach Salesloft Apollo HubSpot Sequences Experience with CRM platforms such as: Salesforce HubSpot Zoho CRM Strong written and verbal English communication Strong objection-handling and interpersonal skills Highly organized and disciplined with follow-ups Resilient and comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment Availability during U.S. business hours Preferred Experience 2–4 years of SDR or BDR experience Proven history of meeting or exceeding activity and meeting quotas Experience selling into: B2B SaaS Technology Marketing services Professional services Experience targeting mid-market or enterprise prospects Familiarity with sales methodologies such as: SPIN Selling MEDDIC Challenger Sale Sandler Experience working in a remote or high-growth sales environment Tools You May Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo Apollo Crunchbase Outreach Salesloft HubSpot Sequences Salesforce HubSpot CRM Zoho CRM What Makes You a Strong Fit You’re comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with cold prospects You communicate clearly and confidently You know how to turn initial resistance into productive conversations You’re competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by measurable results You remain resilient when facing rejection You’re disciplined about follow-ups and pipeline management You enjoy testing different messaging and improving your approach You take ownership of your activity and results What a Typical Day Looks Like Your day may include: Researching target accounts and decision-makers Building prospect lists Making 30–40 cold calls Sending personalized emails and LinkedIn messages Following up with prospects across active sequences Handling objections and qualifying interest Booking meetings for Account Executives Updating CRM records and next steps Reviewing response and conversion rates Collaborating with AEs on lead quality and targeting In short: you create new sales opportunities by consistently finding the right prospects, starting conversations, and converting interest into qualified meetings.
