This role comes with full accountability—not only for your team’s output and deliverables, but also for communicating performance, roadblocks, and initiatives directly to leadership positions. Key Responsibilities: As the SEO Specialist Trainer, you will guide, mentor, and upskill incoming SEO Specialists, Trainees, and interns. The key responsibilities you will have are: Train new hires in Search Engine Optimization, including ranking strategies, fundamentals, and advanced techniques Lead workshops on link-building, technical SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog), analytics, and SEO systems Supervise SEO trainees as they learn WordPress tasks and content publishing Develop training materials, checklists, and structured learning paths Review trainees’ website audits, visual inspections, and optimization work to ensure quality standards Teach best practices for generating leads through organic strategies Ensure trainees learn proper implementation of tracking scripts, analytics goals, etc. Coach teams on how to communicate effectively with the other departments at the company Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and document training progress Mentor junior staff through weekly and monthly SEO routines Collaborate with management to constantly refine the training process Requirements Minimum Requirements: STEM or technical background preferred (e.g., industrial engineering, systems, analytics, etc.) College degree is preferred, but not required Exceptional SEO knowledge across technical, on-page, off-page, and content strategy Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, simplify complex concepts, and develop practical solutions Proven experience in analytics-driven environments Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, including experience training, developing, and motivating individuals or teams Prior training, team-lead, or mentorship experience is a strong plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills C1-level or higher English proficiency (written and verbal) is required Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple trainees, projects, and competing priorities successfully WordPress proficiency strongly preferred Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment with high performance expectations Ability to resolve problems quickly and coach others to do the same Benefits Major medical insurance + vision + dental 6 PTO days per year (personal & sick days) 6 extra vacation days after 6 months Fun Fridays (2 Fridays per month = half days) Ongoing training Real growth opportunities Hybrid / Remote work
