Senior Software Engineer Position Type: Full-Time | Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack development experience to build, improve, and maintain reliable software products. Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL . Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Experience building and supporting production software applications. Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud . Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes. Strong understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and code quality. Experience working with Agile/Scrum or similar development processes. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Availability during U.S. business hours . If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
