Storeperson - Warehouse & Truck Driver (Class 1)

Looking for a steady, hands-on warehouse role with a good team? We're looking for a Storeperson to join our Timaru team. This is a warehouse-focused role covering stock handling, truck loading and load restraint, with local deliveries when needed. Monday to Friday · 8:00am–4:30pm · Weekly pay What you'll be doing Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock Loading trucks and securing loads with straps and restraint equipment Operating forklifts and lifting equipment Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes Carrying out local customer deliveries as required Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe Requirements Full Class 1 Driver Licence (mandatory) Storeperson or warehouse experience – picking, packing, dispatch Forklift licence (F endorsement) Truck loading and load restraint experience Experience handling steel, aluminium or other long, heavy materials (an advantage) A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test What's in it for you Weekly pay and reliable hours Monday to Friday work with weekends free Full training and development opportunities Modern equipment and strong safety culture A supportive team where your effort gets noticed Permanent role with a stable, growing company About Vulcan Founded in 1995, Vulcan is Australalasia's highest performing metals distributor and processor, delivering solutions that enable excellence.
