About the Role As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will play a lead role supporting attorneys and legal teams throughout the full litigation lifecycle, with a primary focus on toxic tort matters. You will take ownership of discovery, case evaluations, court filings, deposition and trial preparation, while helping coordinate priorities across the broader case team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced litigation professional who is comfortable working independently, making sound decisions and managing multiple deadlines. Responsibilities Lead the preparation, review and revision of discovery materials, motions, judgments, dismissals and other litigation documents. Support attorneys during trial preparation and trial, including coordinating witness lists, exhibits and case materials. Prepare case evaluations and assess potential settlement value using case facts and relevant settlement history. Prepare, execute and manage electronic court filings, pleadings, UCC filings and applicable state filings. Protect critical case timelines by maintaining docketing requirements, court deadlines and compliance obligations. Conduct and coordinate legal research and compile materials needed for depositions, hearings and trials. Prepare discovery productions, coordinate depositions and verify case citations and supporting authorities. Obtain and organize records while coordinating with experts and other professionals involved in litigation matters. Draft clear, professional client correspondence for attorney review and communicate case-related information when appropriate. Provide guidance to team members, share litigation knowledge and help maintain consistent quality across case work. Requirements Must-Have: 5 or more years of experience in the legal industry or equivalent transferable experience in areas such as insurance, government, regulatory or compliance administration. Paralegal certificate or paralegal degree. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of litigation processes, legal documentation and deadline management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and work effectively within legal technology systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to work onsite in the St. Louis office four days per week and operate successfully within a billable-hour model. Nice to Have: 5 or more years of direct experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Experience supporting toxic tort, product liability, environmental or other complex litigation matters. Associate's degree in paralegal studies. Experience supporting depositions, hearings and trials. Experience evaluating cases, coordinating experts or assisting with settlement analysis.
