Job Summary: The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales of new and pre-owned vehicles by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires strong product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and the ability to deliver a premium buying experience that aligns with dealership and brand standards. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES Sales & Business Development • Achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales targets. • Prospect new clients through referrals, cold calls, and showroom walk-ins. • Actively participate in sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management • Conduct professional consultations to identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle options. • Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying journey. • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations • Maintain expert knowledge of all vehicle models, features, specifications, and finance options. • Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives to showcase performance and features. • Stay updated on competitor products and market trends. Sales Process & Documentation • Prepare quotations, sales contracts, and finance/insurance documentation. • Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with finance, insurance, and registration teams to finalize deals. Reporting & Compliance • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems for leads, opportunities, and sales activities. • Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and pipeline status. • Adhere to brand guidelines, ethical sales practices, and compliance standards.
