As a Key Account Manager at AME, you play a key role in building long-term partnerships with our customers and contributing to AME’s commercial growth. This is not a role focused on quick transactions or standard products. At AME, we work as a technology and manufacturing partner to our customers, helping them bring high-quality electronic products from idea to realization. In this role, you manage and further develop an existing portfolio of international B2B customers. Your portfolio includes one major customer with high revenue and complexity, several larger accounts, and a number of smaller customers with growth potential. Across these accounts, you build strong relationships with different stakeholders, from purchasing and engineering to senior management. To be successful, you need more than commercial experience. You need to understand your customers, but also AME from the inside. You work closely with colleagues in R&D, Operations, Project Management, Manufacturing and Sales to create realistic solutions, align expectations and make sure we deliver what we promise. Your tasks Managing and developing our key accounts is at the core of your role. You maintain close relationships with customers, understand their needs and identify opportunities for further collaboration and growth. You act as the connecting link between the customer and AME. This means bringing the right people together, asking the right questions and creating alignment between customer expectations and AME’s technical and operational possibilities. Summarizing, you are responsible for: Managing an existing portfolio of international B2B key accounts; Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships; Acting as first point of contact and escalation for your customers; Identifying new business opportunities across both existing and new customers; Understanding customer needs and translating them into realistic commercial and technical opportunities; Managing and negotiating offers, contracts and commercial agreements; Creating alignment between customers and internal stakeholders in R&D, Operations, Project Management and Manufacturing; Ensuring a successful transfer of new projects from Sales to Project Management; Representing AME at customer meetings, events, fairs, conferences and seminars.
