We are looking for Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineers in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Barcelona, Spain. Please be aware that this is a proactive job posting. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: QA Profile Support in the review of QA documentation: Assist in the review of all types of QA documentation of different F4E Programmes; Aid in the review of QA documentation of other Units of the Organisation. Support in the management of NCRs: Assistance in the technical and administrative management of NCRs. Support in the management of quality matters during design and manufacturing of ITER components: Support during the design and manufacturing of different F4E components in technical and administrative QA matters; Support in technical and administrative QA matters during the design and manufacturing of other projects of the Organisation. QC Profile Review suppliers’ quality related documents; Provide support to supervisions and audits performed to suppliers; Follow up of Non-Conformities and deviations (deviations are changes in the requirement of the contract); Establish a close communication with suppliers, being supportive achieving a smooth progress of the activities; Supervise and inspect the manufacturing processes of mechanical components at the suppliers; Support to the definition, qualification and monitoring of joining techniques (Machining, Welding, Assembly) of various components (materials such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc.); Monitoring of non-destructive tests carried out in suppliers, including Ultrasound and Radiography. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
