At AME, we design and manufacture innovative, sustainable, and high-quality products by combining electronics, mechanics, software, and advanced manufacturing technologies. As a Manufacturing Engineer , you play a key role in bringing new products from development into production. You are responsible for the industrialization process, from identifying manufacturing risks at an early stage through to qualifying the final production process, and act as the representative of the Operations department within product development projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Tooling Development Engineers, Project Buyers, Supply Chain, and production colleagues, you ensure that products and manufacturing processes are ready for successful introduction into the factory. What you’ll do Act as the Operations representative in product development projects and support the successful industrialization of new products. Assess customer requirements, technical specifications, and project deliverables from a manufacturing feasibility, risk, and industrialization perspective. Organize and drive key industrialization activities; Design for Manufacturing and PFMEA sessions, ensuring actions and risks are properly followed up. Define and optimize the production process, including workflows, line balancing, control plans, work instructions, tooling usage, and packaging methods, to achieve the required efficiency and quality targets. Develop and execute the NPI strategy to validate and qualify manufacturing processes before production ramp-up. Monitor industrialization progress and provide updates to project teams and relevant stakeholders. Support manufacturing with second-line engineering support, including 8D problem-solving, and help resolve product and process-related issues. Contribute to continuous improvement, change management, cost estimations, and technical decision-making throughout the product lifecycle. Guide Junior Engineers and Trainees and review technical documentation when needed.

Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
