Position Summary: Senior Accounts Executive would be part of the finance team and responsible for all accounting activities for Australia and New Zealand business units. Key Roles & Responsibilities: The Senior Accounts Executive will be a member of the finance team, responsible for supporting all accounting activities. Core Accounting Responsibilities • Process inter-company transactions accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and support capital expenditure management. • Manage inventory accounting, including analysis, stocktake reporting and related reconciliations. • Oversee rentals and leases, including invoicing, job creation, acquisitions, disposals and query resolution. • Prepare month-end journals for prepayments, accruals, depreciation and other recurring adjustments. • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items · Ensure all records comply with company policies. Reporting, Forecasting and Audit Support • Assist with the monthly management accounts submission. • Support annual statutory audits and internal audit requirements. • Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets under the guidance of the Finance Manager. Team Support and Backup Duties • Provide support and backup coverage for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as required. Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency and accuracy
