Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth and market expansion in North America. Because this is a key territory operating across a time difference from our European headquarters, you will need to be a highly motivated self-starter with the autonomy and drive to build and lead a successful sales organization independently. You will scale and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals to evangelize our end-to-end solar development platform, playing a critical role in taking our ARR to the next level. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets across the North American solar and data center markets. Team Building & Scaling: Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing B2B sales team from the ground up, fostering a culture of quality and accountability in a remote environment. Executive Alignment: Create, communicate, and accurately forecast sales goals, ensuring C-level executives and global HQ are consistently informed on progress, pipeline health, and market penetration. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with key enterprise customers (Utility-scale developers, EPCs, hyperscalers, and data center developers). Partner with them to deeply understand their business objectives and position PVcase as a strategic solution. Business Development: Plan and oversee all regional initiatives to rapidly expand our customer base. Promote the company’s software platform by addressing clients’ complex pain points regarding solar design, power availability, and data center site selection. Sales Cycle Mastery: Deliver, manage, and continuously improve the full sales cycle across the North American team. Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify new segments and customer needs within the co-development space. Stay abreast of competing markets, providing actionable reports on market movement, competitor positioning, and competitive intelligence. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Share knowledge with other regional branches, Customer Success, and the Product team to leverage effective practices and highlight emerging business opportunities. Industry Presence: Attend and represent PVcase at major conferences, tradeshows, and industry events related to both the solar market and data center/hyperscale infrastructure to expand our network and partnership opportunities.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.

Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.

The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.

Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
