As a Quality Manager (m/f/d) , you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team , supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. The Romanian production site will not only support local defense programs but will also contribute to fulfilling customer orders across Europe and support the delivery of mission-critical systems for Ukraine, reinforcing Quantum Systems' commitment to strengthening European security and defense capabilities. https://startupcafe.ro/romania-achizitie-drone-startup-german-quantum-systems-safe-98623 You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Programs departments to establish and maintain a world-class quality management system. As Quantum Systems continues to expand its industrial footprint in Romania, your mission will be to ensure the highest standards of product quality, process excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of mission-critical systems trusted by NATO forces and deployed in demanding operational environments across Europe and Ukraine. What is your Day to Day Mission: Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System across the Romanian production site. Define, implement, and monitor quality standards, procedures, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with applicable industry, customer, and regulatory requirements. Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis activities. Establish and oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes. Manage internal and external audits and support certification activities. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to improve product quality and process capability. Monitor supplier quality performance and work with Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues. Analyze quality data, KPIs, non-conformities, and production trends to identify improvement opportunities. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies. Support new product introductions and industrialization activities from a quality perspective. Develop and mentor local quality personnel and foster a strong quality culture across the organization. Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality topics and escalations.
