As a Finance Manager , you will be a key part of our Finance Team , supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. The Romanian production site will not only support local defense programs but will also contribute to fulfilling customer orders across Europe and support the delivery of mission-critical systems for Ukraine, reinforcing Quantum Systems' commitment to strengthening European security and defense capabilities. As part of this strategic investment, Quantum Systems is rapidly expanding its presence in Romania and plans to hire up to 50 employees in 2026 and up to 150 employees in 2027 . As part of the global Finance organization, your mission will be to ensure financial transparency, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and sound financial planning while supporting the growth and scaling of our Romanian operations. What is your Day to Day Mission: Lead all finance and accounting activities for the Romanian entity. Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in coordination with global finance teams. Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and governance processes. Manage cash flow planning, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimization. Coordinate tax filings, audits, and interactions with external advisors, auditors, and authorities. Support cost controlling activities and drive transparency across manufacturing and operational expenses. Collaborate with leadership teams to develop financial plans supporting site growth and expansion. Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, manufacturing costs, fixed assets, and operational expenditures. Support ERP implementation, financial system improvements, and process optimization initiatives. Build and develop local finance capabilities in alignment with global standards and best practices.
