Tours & Travel Sales Agent (Travel Advisor) - Motorcoach Tours at Starr Bus Charters & Tours Are you passionate about travel and sales/customer service? Starr Tours in Fairless Hills, PA, one of the nation’s largest privately owned Bus Charter & Tour companies, is seeking a talented and detail minded individual to work as a Travel Advisor in our Public Bus Tours Division to sell and service bus trips . This individual will be an integral part of our highly experienced Tour Division responsible for selling and servicing over 50 One-Day excursions and 85 multi-day vacations each year. The trips range from quick getaways to Broadway and Lancaster, to longer trips to destinations like Cape Cod, Nashville, and even a 27-day Cross Country trip. Position: Travel Advisor - Motorcoach Tours Location: Fairless Hills, PA Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales, service, or administration and must have great customer service skills. Candidate must have attention to detail, effective communication skills, strong organizational skills, patience and kindness, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be good with computers as well as basic accounting . Excellent communication skills (written, verbal/phone and electronic) are required. We're looking for self-motivated candidates with an excellent work ethic , and the ability to sell and service trips effectively over the phone and by email in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner. On any given day, you may find yourself making outbound calls to past travelers, fielding incoming calls due to marketing efforts, calling clients for meal selections or payments, answering questions, proofing advertisements, processing mail, or helping out around the office. Trust us, you won’t be bored! The ideal candidate will have a love of travel and interest in learning about new destinations and attractions. Having some personal travel experience and familiarity with popular domestic destinations is a plus. Team atmosphere: Starr’s culture is one where everyone pitches in to help in other areas of the business when needed. There will be great opportunities to learn and gain experience outside of your regular role. These could range from help with special projects and new ventures, to attending trips, or helping to jump in to assist a Tour Director or Driver with a question.
