As a Flight Operations Engineer , you will be a key part of our Flight Operations Team , supporting the local manufacturing and operational deployment of advanced drone systems in Romania. Your mission will be to perform functional and flight acceptance testing of completed aircraft, identify and document deviations, support root cause investigations, and ensure that mission-critical systems are ready for customer delivery and operational deployment. What is your Day to Day Mission: Perform functional inspections and acceptance testing of completed UAV systems. Conduct pre-flight checks and verify aircraft readiness prior to test flights. Execute production acceptance flights according to established testing procedures. Evaluate aircraft performance, system functionality, flight behavior, and mission readiness. Verify proper operation of avionics, payloads, sensors, communication systems, and ground control stations. Document test results, defects, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Identify failures, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause investigations. Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues identified during testing. Ensure all aircraft meet quality and operational requirements before customer delivery. Support continuous improvement of testing procedures, quality standards, and production acceptance processes. Maintain accurate testing records and release documentation. Contribute to the development of test procedures, checklists, and operational work instructions.
