As a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will be an important part of our software team. You will design, optimize, and expand our test automation system to fully automate the release process and software quality of the ground station and our drone software. In a highly skilled team, you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of modern software solutions for our high-tech drones. You will work closely with stakeholders from our software teams as well as adjacent departments (such as hardware development) to extend and improve the software testing pipeline. By ensuring high code quality and streamlined deployment pipelines, you will support Quantum-Systems in its mission to become the leader for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV). What is your Day to Day Mission: Develop a test strategy to validate our entire software stack for vertical take-off and landing aircraft (VTOL). Create new end-to-end integration tests. Review, challenge, and optimize existing test cases. Proactively expand test coverage in a structured way to identify and push system limits. Develop an automated test framework that enables developers to continuously extend the test suite. Evaluate and develop AI-powered testing solutions, including AI agent-based systems, to automate test implementation, improve test generation, and increase the efficiency of our verification processes. Work closely with development teams to further build out the test automation pipeline.
