As an Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will actively shape the transition from manual manufacturing processes to scalable, automated production. You will design, program, and operate automation solutions, integrate machinery and digital systems, and ensure stable and efficient workflows in the production environment. With your technical expertise and process understanding, you will play a key role in sustainably improving quality, safety, and productivity. You will report directly to the Team Lead Competence Center and work closely with interdisciplinary teams such as Production, Quality, Procurement, and Development to implement innovative automation concepts. From day one, you will take ownership of your area of responsibility and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technologies. At the same time, you will have the freedom to optimize existing structures and introduce new solutions for a future-oriented, digitalized production environment. What is your Day to Day Mission: Analyze existing production processes, identify automation potential, and derive practical improvements Develop, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions to increase efficiency and scalability Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Development teams in the introduction of new technologies and systems Ensure stability, safety, and continuous optimization of automated systems during ongoing operations Contribute to the digitalization of manufacturing (Industry 4.0, machine connectivity, data integration) Establish and further develop standards and best practices for automation and process safety Train colleagues to build automation expertise across the team

Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
