The Operations Lead (OL) enables engineering teams to deliver sustainably, efficiently, and with high quality. As a trusted partner to engineers and stakeholders, the OL creates an environment where teams can focus on delivering business value while continuously improving collaboration, processes, and team effectiveness. The role combines operational leadership, stakeholder alignment, and people development to ensure consistent execution in support of the company’s strategic goals. About your new role You create an environment where teams can collaborate effectively, continuously improve, and maintain a healthy balance between delivery, quality, and resilience. Analyze and optimize team and cross-functional processes, using feedback, retrospectives, and operational metrics to improve execution. Enable sustainable delivery by identifying blockers, improving workflows, and helping teams maintain focus on priorities and outcomes. Establish meaningful KPIs and transparency mechanisms that support data-driven operational steering and informed decision-making. Lead operational initiatives and cross-team projects, managing dependencies and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful execution. Support the growth and development of engineers through coaching, feedback, onboarding improvements, and targeted development initiatives. Skills & Requirements Experience leading, coaching, or developing teams in a technology-driven environment, combined with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups. A strong understanding of operational excellence, workflow optimization, prioritization, and delivery management within software development organizations. Confidence in working with KPIs, operational metrics, and data-driven decision-making to identify improvement opportunities and measure outcomes. A solid understanding of software development processes, enabling effective engagement in technical and product-related discussions without owning technical decisions. A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and independently drive topics forward. The confidence to speak up and challenge ideas constructively, paired with openness to diverse perspectives.
