We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in support of the Neutral Beam Confinement Project in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will support the design and manufacturing of Neutral Beam Confinement systems by overseeing engineering and manufacturing deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and managing technical documentation throughout the lifecycle. They will act as the primary interface with suppliers, monitoring performance, coordinating activities such as onsite testing, and ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to specifications during both engineering and production phases. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: Support the design and manufacturing of the Neutral Beam Confinement Systems, such as the Neutral Beam Vessel; Review engineering, manufacturing deliverables (procedures, reports, etc.); Control and verification of project requirements; Documentation management and control; Follow up on engineering activities (e.g., technical documentation during engineering and production phases); Attendance of activities at supplier premises or at his subcontractors ones (e.g. materials mechanical testing); Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, serving as the main point of contact for daily operations; Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, product quality, and compliance with specifications and standards. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
