Legal Technology Entry-Level Developer Overview TransPerfect is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Developers to join the team supporting Virtual Reef, TransPerfect’s internal business platform. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about software development, problem-solving, and building scalable technology solutions in a collaborative environment. We are looking for candidates with experience or academic exposure to web development technologies, databases, front-end frameworks, or QA automation platforms. Successful candidates will be eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to contribute to innovative internal tools and applications. What You Will Be Doing Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Virtual Reef platform Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams on new features and improvements Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure platform reliability Contribute to front-end and/or back-end development projects Help document technical processes, workflows, and system updates Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement initiatives Stay current on emerging technologies and development best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred Exposure to or experience with one or more of the following: PHP MySQL JavaScript React QA automation platforms such as Playwright or Selenium Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Basic understanding of software development principles and web technologies Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn Internship, academic project, or personal project experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Experience working with APIs or databases Exposure to QA testing methodologies or automation frameworks Understanding of responsive web design and modern UI/UX principles Why TransPerfect?
