Your Role in Our Mission You will help build and scale FundedNext’s in-house affiliate and partner platform, powering the systems that drive partner onboarding, attribution tracking, commission management, and campaign performance visibility. Working within the Partnership Experience Squad, you will develop high-performance partner-facing products and financially critical backend systems that directly impact partner trust, revenue accuracy, and platform scalability. How You’ll Make an Impact Affiliate Partner Platform Development Build and enhance the in-house partner portal including onboarding flows, tracking link generation, analytics dashboards, commission statements, payout management, and sub-affiliate tools Develop responsive, high-performance partner experiences using Next.js and React with strong focus on usability and scalability Build internal admin tools for campaign management, partner approvals, payout workflows, fraud review, and communication management Tracking, Attribution & Fraud Detection Implement affiliate tracking systems including click tracking, attribution logic, conversion processing, postback handling, and deep-link generation Build server-side and cross-session attribution solutions that maintain tracking accuracy across modern browser restrictions Develop fraud detection features to identify suspicious affiliate activity such as click fraud, cookie stuffing, duplicate conversions, and self-referrals Commission Engine & Financial Workflows Build commission calculation systems supporting CPA, revenue share, hybrid, and multi-tier referral models Implement qualification pipelines, payout workflows, reconciliation systems, and audit trails with strong focus on financial accuracy Ensure commission and payout systems remain scalable, traceable, and operationally reliable Platform Migration & System Integration Support migration from FirstPromoter to Adapt by building migration scripts, validation tooling, and tracking continuity checks Integrate affiliate systems with payout, CRM, and external partner tools while ensuring data integrity and operational consistency Build automated communication systems for partner lifecycle notifications, commission events, and campaign updates Engineering Excellence & AI-Native Development Write maintainable, test-heavy code for financially critical systems and end-to-end tracking flows Collaborate closely with the partnerships team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Leverage AI-native engineering workflows using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar AI coding agents What You Bring 3–5 years of software engineering experience with exposure to affiliate platforms, martech, partner systems, or performance marketing infrastructure Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel, Next.js/React , and Node.js for building scalable full stack systems Understanding of affiliate tracking, attribution logic, conversion events, and commission calculation models Strong database design and optimization skills for event-driven and financial data systems using MySQL or PostgreSQL Experience building responsive, data-heavy dashboards and partner-facing products with strong UX and performance considerations Familiarity with fraud detection concepts, payout workflows, and data migration practices Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work closely with partnerships and business teams Mandatory hands-on experience with AI-native engineering workflows and modern AI coding agents Your X-Factor Strong ownership mindset when building financially sensitive systems involving commissions and payouts Ability to balance backend accuracy with polished partner-facing user experiences Product-minded engineering approach with strong attention to scalability, tracking integrity, and operational reliability AI-native development workflow with demonstrated productivity gains through agentic engineering tools Your Journey after Applying 30 minute HR interview with the Talent Acquisition team member Assessment stage 45 minute Problem Solving Interview (with talent acquisition team & department front line manager) 60-minute Bar Raiser Interview (with head of department & talent acquisition lead) Why Join NEXT At NEXT Ventures, we believe the right talent fuels breakthrough innovation. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
