Your daily job As a Manufacturing Manager at AME, you lead our factory organization across Electronics Manufacturing, System Assembly, and Mechanical Manufacturing (plastics injection moulding). You are accountable for the overall factory performance in a low-volume, high-mix environment where quality, flexibility, and reliability are critical. You lead approximately 80 FTE through 4 Production Managers, report to the Operations Manager, and are part of the Operations Management Team. In this role, you: Lead multiple manufacturing departments and ensure strong execution on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Efficiency. Drive factory performance in terms of on-time delivery, productivity, and first-time-right quality Build an engaged workforce and a positive working environment, role-modelling AME’s core values: togetherness, commitment, and excellence Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence (Lean, Kaizen, standard work, problem solving) Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering/Industrialization, and Supply Chain to remove bottlenecks and prevent recurring issues Oversee the Service department for internal and external reject handling, ensuring fast containment and structural improvements Align with the Facility department to support manufacturing continuity and operational stability
