To one of our important customers in Lund we are now seeking for a Senior Piping Engineer. Scope of the assignment The candidate shall work in collaboration with multiple projects in ESS. The assignment might require cooperation with other divisions as well. The candidate will manage and control documentation and correct information from QC documentation to CHESS and ensure that it is also correct for EAM. The candidate will participate in coordination and integration meetings, produce the relevant reports and status of the activities. The candidate must ensure that documentation from installation is at the correct level for the process and its function. Supporting ESS Support preparation of testing protocols, verification procedures, and related technical documentation, Support installation activities by clarifying technical questions and resolving design-related issues, Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and coordination meetings with project teams, Support troubleshooting and technical investigations related to electrical systems and equipment, Assist with configuration management and document updates in relevant engineering tools and systems, Supporting project management Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems, Collect, clarify, and document technical requirements from relevant stakeholders and systems, Assist with drafting activities, including preparation, review, and completion of as-built documentation. Required education background and professional experience Education in Mechanical Engineering; B.Sc. or similar At least 5 years of piping and/or process design work Experience and understanding of a complete piping project with its phases and interfaces Well oriented in piping systems and its documentation Experienced collaboration between detail design and installation/manufacturing Understanding of quality and final documentation Good knowledge in common norms and standards applicable for process and mechanical engineering and design, specifically PED. Experience from Nuclear piping or Oil & Gas design work is preferable. Special expertise needed P&ID rules, Good written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge about installation and commissioning Nice to have PED, EN 13445, EN 13480 knowledge
