Assignment Description We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Platform Engineer What You Will Work On Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms with a strong focus on Databricks Develop and maintain robust ETL/data pipelines for large-scale operational data Improve Databricks platform architecture, setup, and capabilities Implement data governance models, catalogues, and metadata management Improve data quality, discoverability, security, and compliance Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Databricks and cloud infrastructure Build automated, reliable, and reproducible platform environments Design solutions for complex data and platform challenges Collaborate with developers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business stakeholders Translate business and technical requirements into production-ready data products Support continuous platform development, operations, and maintenance What You Bring Several years of senior Data Engineering or Platform Engineering experience Strong hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS Strong programming skills in Python and SQL Experience designing and developing ETL/data pipelines Experience with Infrastructure as Code for Databricks and cloud services Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data discoverability Experience designing scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms Proven production experience with Databricks Experience with medium- to large-scale data platforms Ability to independently drive technical improvements Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions AWS or Databricks certification is an advantage
