Assignment Description We are looking for a Senior HIL Engineer / HIL Developer What You Will Work On Lead and drive development, maintenance, and testing of complete-vehicle electrical HIL rigs Design and develop electrical systems integrated into HIL rigs Work with wiring harnesses, power distribution, control units, and I/O hardware Build and configure dSPACE hardware including SCALEXIO, LabBox, and I/O boards Work with ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, and ModelDesk Develop HIL solutions using Simulink and Stateflow Develop automated test environments and test cases Integrate and verify electrical and electronic components Support hardware and software integration during early development phases Work with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and other vehicle communication protocols Contribute to CI-ready and scalable automated test environments Collaborate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders Drive continuous improvements in HIL processes and ways of working Support end-to-end functional testing and verification What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or similar 5+ years of relevant professional experience Strong experience in automotive electrical system design, development, integration, or verification Experience developing electronic systems across hardware and software Hands-on experience with HIL and automated test systems Strong competence in MATLAB, Python, Robot Framework, or similar tools Experience with dSPACE HIL environments Knowledge of Simulink and Stateflow Good understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or similar vehicle communication protocols Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment
