About the Role: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for end-to-end infrastructure deployment and reliable operation of production environments. You will design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automate provisioning and configuration, support Windows/Linux platforms (including clustering), and ensure observability and high availability of core services. What you will be doing: Own infrastructure deployment lifecycle: design → provisioning → configuration → release → operations Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (modules, environments, state management) Automate configuration management and application/platform setup with Ansible (roles, inventories, secure secrets handling) Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and deployment workflows (validation, plan/apply, linting, approvals) Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems (systemd, networking, storage, performance tuning) Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Windows-based clusters (HA/failover, patching, upgrades) Operate, tune, and ensure high availability for Redis , RabbitMQ , and Nginx Build and support monitoring and alerting with VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus (exporters, rules, dashboards, capacity tracking) Improve reliability: incident response, root-cause analysis, postmortems, and preventive actions Standardize environments and deployment patterns across stages (dev/test/prod), including documentation and runbooks Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on release planning, change management, and security requirements What you will bring to the role: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 3+ years (or equivalent) in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering Strong practical experience with Ansible and Terraform Confident administration of Linux and Windows Server Hands-on experience with Windows clustering technologies (e.g., Failover Clustering / HA setups on Windows) Monitoring expertise with VictoriaMetrics and/or Prometheus (scraping, exporters, alerting, dashboards) Production experience with Redis , RabbitMQ , Nginx (configuration, troubleshooting, scalability, HA) Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing, firewalls) Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and maintaining reusable automation (modules/roles) Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in on-call / incident-response processes Nice to have Containerization/orchestration: Docker , Kubernetes CI/CD platforms: GitLab CI , Jenkins , GitHub Actions Logging/observability stacks: ELK/EFK , Loki/Grafana Experience with HA/DR, backups/restore automation, and zero-downtime upgrades Security practices: least privilege, secrets management (Vault, SOPS, etc.), hardening and compliance Experience in managing VOIP components and protocols (SIP , FreeSwitch, OpenSIP, session border controllers) Experience with load balancing components ( F5 LTM, F5 GTM) Experience in building, configuring, and tuning highly available MS SQL Server environments Experience with Virtualization platforms such as VMWare or HyperV Experience with administering AWS or Azure tenants Diversity, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunity We hire, promote, and compensate employees based on their ability to perform their job responsibilities, without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, citizenship, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or any other basis protected by applicable law (collectively referred to in our Code of Conduct as “Protected Classes”). If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
