Req ID [[id]] | [[location_obj]], [[filter5]], [[legalEntity_obj]] About the Team We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Hangzhou. What you can look forward to as a Senior Embedded Software Developer: Develop real-time DSP software for next-generation X-in-1 integrated powertrain controllers covering electric drive and OBC/DCDC systems. Develop, debug, and maintain DSP software on ARCv2 EM5 cores within the Infineon TC4x heterogeneous microcontroller architecture. Configure, optimize, and maintain the DSP build environment and toolchain using Synopsys MetaWare. Implement and tune high-speed closed-loop control algorithms on the DSP core, supporting both electric drive functions such as resolver decoding and fast current sampling as well as power electronics functions like PFC, LLC, and DCDC/OBC control logic. Configure and align hardware peripherals including high-precision ePWM timing, fast ADC sampling synchronization, and hardware protection interrupts for multi-functional integration. Implement DSP-level functional safety mechanisms under ISO 26262, including safety initialization, runtime task monitoring, and fault diagnostics. Analyze and resolve software bottlenecks related to core-to-core communication, inter-process communication, task scheduling, and data routing across heterogeneous cores. Collaborate with hardware, basic software, and system teams to support X-in-1 product integration, HIL verification, dyno testing, and vehicle testing. Your Profile as a Senior Embedded Software Developer: Proficient in C programming for real-time control embedded systems or DSP platforms. Solid hands-on software development experience in electric drive systems such as eDrive or inverters, or power electronics systems such as OBC, DCDC, or bidirectional chargers. Deep understanding of real-time control mechanisms, including ePWM timing, high-speed ADC synchronization, interrupt handling, and register-level peripheral setup. Familiarity with digital control theory, loop stability, or digital signal filtering. Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts or ASPICE software processes. Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators for hardware-software co-debugging. Experience with heterogeneous multi-core MCU architectures such as Infineon AURIX TC4x, Synopsys ARCv2 EM5 cores, or TI CLA co-processors as a preferred qualification. Familiarity with Synopsys MetaWare toolchain, Linker script setup, or custom build scripts as a preferred qualification. Experience with resolver decoding algorithms or motor position feedback processing as a preferred qualification. Why you should choose ZF in Hangzhou? That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.
Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.
The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.
In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
