Req ID [[id]] | [[location_obj]], [[filter5]], [[legalEntity_obj]] Job Description About the Team: As a global technology driven manufacturer and pioneer in the global wind turbine gearbox industry, business unit IW is leading the high-performance onshore and offshore segments with products up to 10 000 kNm and first in exceeding 200 Nm/kg torque density in compact modular designs What you can look forward to as Validation Engineer - Wind Turbine Gearbox (m/f/d): Lead validation activities in line with defined validation strategies for multi-megawatt wind turbine gearboxes and drivetrain systems. Ensure customer and technology projects are validated on time, within budget, and meet required technical outcomes to guarantee reliability and efficiency for global wind farm applications. Define technical scope and develop detailed test procedures based on customer requirements, drivetrain design targets, and internal validation standards to ensure highest levels of durability, performance, quality, and safety. Plan, coordinate, and execute validation tests to evaluate risks as per agreed requirements, leveraging advanced drivetrain test benches and validation infrastructure. Proactively manage escalations and maintain transparency in timelines, budget, and test results. Your profile as Validation Engineer - Wind Turbine Gearbox (m/f/d): Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in a testing environment, including measurement data acquisition and analysis. Strong knowledge of measurement techniques and instrumentation systems. Experience with MATLAB is an added advantage.
