WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR A Sr Sales Manager for Wholesale who will be responsible for managing the Women’s Footwear and Handbag wholesale businesses, sales distribution, establishing sales territories, quotas and goals. Responsible for achieving/exceeding top line sales goals set forth by headquarters and department Head. This position is also responsible for analyzing sales statistics and determining sales opportunities for both existing and new business that are aligned with brand vision. Travel up to 40% is required for this position. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000-$145,000 annually Annual bonus eligibility Clothing allowance Comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities will include: Oversee current wholesale portfolio and strengthen/develop relationships to grow current and new distribution. Assess the potential of new and existing clientele, considering sales statistics and expenditures. Proactively assesses and reports business opportunities to retailers. Direct and coordinate all activities involving merchandise sale, seasonal and annual expectations. Execution of Valentino initiatives and strategies ensuring they support Valentino sales, branding, and overall business objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stores teams, Buyers, GMMs and DMMS. Lead, mentor, and guide direct reports in addition to external freelance support roles. Recruit, interview, and select candidates for open BA and DSA positions; plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Build internal/external team objectives, set goals, and assign sales teams accounts/territories Effectively partner with cross functional departments and team to carry out specified wholesale objectives/activities. Support concession conversion strategy and business analysis. Oversee shoe and bag franchise business in partnership with department Head. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in work experience 10-15 years of previous work experience in relevant sales & luxury fields Proven results in achieving sales goals and managing a healthy business Strong business acumen and overall keen data analysis ability Advanced proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with designated department as well as cross functional departments and teams Demonstrates effective leadership, organization, planning and implementation Ability to negotiate with partners while adhering to brand standards and guidelines. Flexible and available to travel on request; domestic and international travel is up to 40%. Collaborative, entrepreneurial, with a desire to grow with the brand.
