Opportunity Overview Our product integration and verification group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Hardware Verification Engineer with a background in digital hardware technology, test methodology, and/or product verification. In this role you will be responsible for developing and releasing product test and verification software to verify both the functionality and performance of our new innovative products. You will integrate across all development functions (HW, SW, Firmware etc.) to successfully bring our new products to market and transfer them to production. This opportunity is for a senior career professional with proven expertise. Responsibilities Design advanced test methodologies to validate new products for functional completeness, performance, and system‑level robustness. Develop, debug, and deploy automated test code in an object‑oriented environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long‑term maintainability. Lead cross‑functional investigations by using functional and performance test results to identify, isolate, and resolve complex integration, interoperability, and performance issues across hardware, firmware, and software teams. Own the deployment of validation tests from early product development through factory release, ensuring smooth handoff, documentation, and support for manufacturing teams. Provide technical leadership and mentorship , influencing test strategy, reviewing test plans, and elevating engineering best practices across the organization. BSEE or BSCE 3+ years of experience in hardware verification or product test engineering, with a strong focus on high-speed digital products and complex system level validation. Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming , with experience in C# (preferred), Java, or C++ for automation, and test framework development. Expert in lab-based troubleshooting and root cause analysis , capable of driving cross functional teams through complex hardware, firmware, software systems. Highly proficient with high-speed test equipment , including high-speed oscilloscopes, BERTs, and related instrumentation; experience with Teradyne ATE is a plus. Extensive experience validating high speed digital communication standards , such as PCIe Gen4 and above, including eye diagram evaluation. Strong command of signal integrity analysis techniques , including jitter decomposition, loss characterization, equalization, and PAM4 based measurements. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
