ABOUT THE ROLE: Location: USQ Toowoomba Casual positions available Ability to work days, nights or weekends Up to 12 hour shifts Level 3 award Wilson Security is expanding in Toowoomba, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of Toowoomba. This growth has created new roles within our Toowoomba team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client Gatehouse duties Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification Providing support to tenants and Facilities Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management Responding to emergency situations Contractor management duties Ad-hoc duties WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Strong Customer Service Skills Proactive and problem-solving mindset Willing to support and step up as required into other roles Ability to work well in a team or autonomously Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends) Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights Experience on large geographical sites or within education desirable Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports Demonstrated ability to monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems highly desirable Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods Valid QLD Security License and QLD Drivers Licence Crowd Control including monitoring subclass will be highly desirable Current First Aid & CPR Certificate Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
