This role drives portfolio growth by developing differentiated market positioning, translating technical and field performance data into compelling customer value propositions, and executing go-to-market strategies that increase product adoption and market share. A key focus of this role is supporting a new distribution partnership portfolio launching September 1, 2026, one of Rovensa Next's most significant growth initiatives in North America. The Portfolio Marketing Manager will develop marketing programs, sales enablement tools, and commercialization plans that align with grower purchasing decisions, distributor buying cycles, and seasonal planting windows. Working closely with Marketing, Technical & Development, Key Account Management, and Regional Commercial teams, his position develops and executes marketing programs aligned with grower purchasing decisions, distributor buying cycles, and seasonal planting windows. The role reports to the North America, Director of Marketing. Key Responsibilities Product Positioning & Market Differentiation Collaborate with the Technical Director and Development Team to translate field trial data and technical product information into clear, differentiated marketing claims and customer messaging. Develop and maintain portfolio value propositions, positioning statements, and proof-point libraries for row crop products. Ensure consistent product messaging across sales tools, campaigns, promotional materials, and customer communications. Monitor competitor positioning, product claims, and commercial activity within row crop biologicals, inoculants, and related product categories. Identify opportunities to differentiate products based on performance, compatibility, economics, and customer value. Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercial Execution Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the row crop portfolio, aligning product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement activities with key agricultural buying cycles. Lead commercialization efforts for the new distribution partnership portfolio launching September 1, 2026. Create, maintain, and manage commercial marketing materials and sales support tools. Partner with Regional Commercial Managers to develop pricing recommendations, promotional programs, and market activation strategies. Sales Enablement & Brand Development Provide sales teams and Key Account Managers with effective messaging, presentations, collateral, and bid support. Support account strategies involving both branded and private-label opportunities. Build awareness and preference for the Rovensa Next brand across key row crop markets. Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify portfolio expansion and growth opportunities. Monitor market trends, grower behavior, weather conditions, input costs, and competitive activity to inform business decisions and marketing priorities. Identify opportunities to establish Rovensa Next products and technical expertise as industry thought leadership. Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Technical, and Commercial teams to bring new ideas and initiatives to market. Budget Management & Performance Manage the row crop marketing budget and track performance against annual business objectives and marketing plans. Monitor market conditions that impact grower profitability and purchasing decisions, adjusting messaging and marketing priorities as needed. Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, portfolio performance, and return on marketing investment. Support trade shows, customer meetings, field events, and industry activities throughout key row crop regions. Education & Experience Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, Marketing, Crop Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of product marketing, portfolio marketing, brand management, or commercial marketing experience within the agricultural industry. Experience marketing agricultural inputs such as seed, biologicals, inoculants, crop nutrition, fertility, or crop protection products. Demonstrated success translating technical, scientific, or agronomic information into effective marketing campaigns, product positioning, and sales enablement materials. Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies aligned with agricultural buying cycles. Strong understanding of row crop production systems and agricultural distribution, retail, and grower channels. Preferred Experience with launching products through new distribution partnerships. Experience managing products in mature and highly competitive agricultural markets. MBA or advanced degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Business, or Marketing. Experience working in a private equity-backed or rapidly evolving organization.
