Job Summary The Student Front Desk Assistant serves as the welcoming face of the Student Center, providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Working in partnership with the Building Support Specialist, this role helps create a positive, engaging, and well-supported environment by assisting with front desk operations, answering questions, directing guests, and supporting the day-to-day activities that enhance the student experience. Key Responsibilities: Greeting and assisting visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Providing general information and directions within the building. Monitoring and maintaining front desk area for cleanliness and organization. Assisting with scheduling, mail distribution, and other administrative tasks as needed. Communicating effectively with staff and faculty to support building operations. Uphold building security protocols Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Dependable, flexible, and detail-oriented Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning abilities Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Capable of working independently and collaboratively Punctual and well-organized Must be currently enrolled as a Purdue University Student Education 0 Experience 0 FLSA Status Non-Exempt
