In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain software or firmware for Ethernet switch platforms. Implement and enhance Layer 2/Layer 3 networking features and protocols. Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, and system software teams on platform bring-up, integration, and feature development. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve networking, performance, and interoperability issues. Support product validation, testing, and customer issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in C/C++ programming and Linux software development. Strong knowledge of Ethernet switching, TCP/IP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols. Experience with network switch software/firmware development and debugging tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
