Purpose As Senior Planning Engineer, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution. This involves collaboration with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to align project timelines and resources. Responsibilities You develop and oversee detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). You coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data and milestones. You monitor and oversee project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. You prepare and oversee regular progress reports, including schedule updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
