Reports To GP Foreman Background The Painter and crew will work safely and will ensure that all aspects of shipboard maintenance and preservation activities (cleaning, blasting, spraying or hand painting, tool cleaning and housekeeping) are carried out safely and effectively. Authority The designated Painter will carry out maintenance under the direction of the GP Foreman and has the authority to direct his painting crew. He will ensure the safety of himself, team members, visitors and subcontractors within the limits of his responsibility. For acting as Lead Painter, the candidate must prove a minimum of 3 year’ experience supervising teams of painters/ blasters. Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
