Position Overview: We are seeking for a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting the management of shipbuilding projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring each project is executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities: Coordinate project engineering efforts for shipbuilding assignments, including planning, coordination, and execution to meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as design, production, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure smooth project progression. Ensure compliance with maritime industry standards, environmental regulations, and corporate safety policies throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and review technical documentation, project reports, and progress updates to keep all stakeholders informed. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and cost efficiencies within shipbuilding projects. Requirements: Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in shipbuilding project engineering, with a strong understanding of maritime vessel construction, systems, and regulations. Good communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools used in shipbuilding design and project management. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to handle the technical and operational complexities of shipbuilding projects.
