Responsibilities: To support ship repair activities with focus on auxiliary machineries and propulsion systems Responsibilities include dismantling, inspection, and reassembly of engines, pumps, gearboxes, shafting, and seals during dry-docking or afloat repairs Track progress of assigned jobs, include escalation of delays or issues Support sea trials, and commissioning of repaired systems Ensures compliance with Class and Flag requirements, assists in survey preparations, and maintains accurate technical documentations Coordination with contractors and adherence to safety protocols Participate in VSCC meetings and risk assessments Ensure QA/QC checks are completed and documented Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in ship repair or marine mechanical systems Familiarity with propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and marine standards Experienced in leading teams for Heavy Gang operations for propulsion system Aptitude for hands-on mechanical tasks Ability to read technical drawings and manuals Possess good communication skills and teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments Attention to details in measurements and documentation Other Information: Location: Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided) 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
