About the role Our Maintenance and Construction team, composed of electrical technicians and network specialists, is part of the Maintenance department and focuses on the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the site’s Medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical network, in collaboration with internal teams and external companies working on the installations. As a Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical Network Engineer, you will work on network operation, extension or improvement projects, and maintenance structuring to support the performance, safety, and reliability of the site’s electrical installations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the control and optimization of electricity consumption and production, and to have a positive impact on business continuity and equipment reliability. You will be responsible for: Network operation : complex electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, switching operations during working hours or on-call, coordination of external companies, continuous improvement, implementation of consumption indicators, development of dispatching. Projects and works : needs definition, study management, sizing of installations, execution of installations (cabling, connection, equipment), participation in commissioning and tests, acceptance and reliability, formalization of adjustment procedures, calibration and commissioning. Maintenance structuring : contribution to the implementation of an efficient maintenance tool, drafting of procedures and work instructions, optimization of maintenance plans, failure analysis and failure scenario assessment, spare parts management strategy, feeding and structuring of the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Management of a team of 4 technicians : development of safety tools and procedures, information sharing, definition of standards, contribution to the technical training of the site’s electricians. We offer a permanent contract, based on on-site work, including on-call duties depending on the department’s organization. About you Engineering degree or equivalent training in industrial electricity. Professional experience related to industrial environments or Medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical maintenance. Competencies: Medium Voltage electrical maintenance and diagnostics (including dispatching) Computerized Maintenance Management System and methods approaches Knowledge of Siemens equipment (asset) Behaviors: Organizational skills Analytical ability and synthesis mindset Interpersonal skills and appetite for teamwork About the salary Attractive and fair compensation for all: compensation is determined within a range to support your development in the role. The expected base salary for this role is €62,000 (excluding bonus) per year. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower depending on your skills and experience. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
