About the role Our Hydrogen Peroxide production team, composed of 20 people, is integrated in the Operations department and focuses on producing hydrogen (H2) and hydrogen peroxide (HP) in collaboration with the Maintenance, Purchasing, Logistics and Commercial teams. As a process engineer, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the safe operation of the plant and implementation of continuous improvement projects. You will provide operational support to the Production Unit Manager in various fields and work on ensuring the plant and process performances meet targets. You will be accountable for: Contributing to the day to day operations of the site’s hydrogen and hydrogen peroxide plant Supporting the production team in troubleshooting Providing continuous improvement and innovation Conducting analysis and process optimizations by using digital tools like advanced analytic and machine learning Participating in the implementation and follow up of site and global improvement projects We offer a permanent position based on onsite working mode. About you Relevant education degree or equivalent in Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or similar qualification. Competencies: Graduate or experience in chemical or manufacturing industry Strong problem solving skills and diagnosis of data and information Behaviors: Strong safety focus Good communication skills Collaboration and teamwork Proactivity and personal commitment Strives for continuous improvement Able to work under pressure About the pay Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is $101,500 to $143,500 (AUD), y our salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
