Demand Planner

We are currently seeking a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for developing demand forecasts, analyzing customer trends, and supporting effective production and inventory planning. The Demand Planner will partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and support business objectives. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, customer demand patterns, and business insights Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and supply chain constraints to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support demand planning and S&OP processes Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and key demand planning metrics Identify demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to improve forecast reliability and supply chain performance Partner with Production Planning and Procurement teams to align demand forecasts with manufacturing and inventory strategies Support new product introductions by incorporating demand forecasts into planning activities Utilize demand planning systems, reporting tools, and data analytics to improve planning accuracy and efficiency Prepare reports, dashboards, and business analysis related to demand trends, forecast performance, and planning activities Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes and overall supply chain performance Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required 1+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment preferred Experience within consumer products, paper, packaging, or related manufacturing industries preferred Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, S&OP, and supply chain planning processes Experience working with ERP, MRP, or demand planning systems; SAP experience preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide business recommendations Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Why join Sofidel: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, and vision insurance options to support employee well-being 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Paid time off and company paid holidays Employee referral program Professional training, development, and opportunities for career growth Stable employment with a growing global organization Collaborative and safety-focused work environment Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence Equal Opportunity Employer: Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
