You will contribute to a project within a global organization committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement. Position Snapshot Nestlé Purina Italy, Greenfield Project Mantova Logistics Engineer Permanent and full-time role Nestlé welcomes people with disabilities University Degree in Engineering Manufacturing projects management: at least 3 years of experience in capital investment projects development and implementation in food industry Fluency in English is required. Italian knowledge would be a plus. Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, 2° Level, Gross Annual Base Salary €48.000,00. Position Summary Ensure implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following the project brief, design specifications and Nestlé standards. A Day in the life of a Logistics Engineer: • Take site constraints into account in the project definition and design • Fulfill engineering project concept • Organize project execution • Mobilize resources (internal & external) • Ensure the coordination with plant design • Select and qualify contactors • Coordinate contractors’ activities • Ensure Nestlé standards are applied • Help the Vertical Project Manager to review the Vertical Project brief • Promote development of environment-friendly and sustainable solutions. What else will make you successful? • Determination of methods to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment (Health, Safety & Environment) • Factory operations background. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
