The Area Sales Manager role is a key customer focusing role within the business working closely with our customers to find out what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process in achieving the customer’s requirements. As an Area Sales Manager you will work primarily with an established call cycle with the objectives of providing outstanding service, exceeding sales and profit targets and KPI’s that are in line with the company’s balanced scorecard. Responsibilities: • Build new & Maintain strong relationships with key customers within your territory. • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets. • Work to a budget in order to achieve individual KPI’s and the company’s sales margin • Discuss product features & benefits of the NORMA product range to their customers • Provide technical training or technical information to our customer’s sales teams. • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly & annual territory analysis. • Monitor competitors’ activities by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, product ranges, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising etc. • Recommend changes in products, service and policy by evaluating competitors’ developments. • Maintain historical information on territory and customer sales. • Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer engagement as part of your daily function. • Represent the company at Trade Shows and Industry Groups activities. • Assist Head of Slaes in the planning & forecasting of the sales within your territory. • Work closely with customers to increase the shelf space for NORMA products by performing merchandising functions including building displays etc. • Assist marketing department when required to collect customer feedback. Profile: • Strong organisational skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels, both within the organisation and externally. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • A desire to advance and willing to challenge existing processes and procedures and think laterally. • Strong PC skills and generally computer literate. • Ability to implement policies and procedures • Excellent communication skills in regards to all stakeholders • Ability to manage a challenging workload and meet deadlines • Strong prioritisation & organization skills • Excellent time management skills and ability to use initiative • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders Contact for this position: [[recruiterName]] NORMA Pacific Pty.
