Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading architectural decisions, ensuring best practices, and providing technical leadership on Salesforce projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to optimize our Salesforce ecosystem and drive digital transformation. Responsibilities: Architecture & Design: Develop and own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Design robust, flexible, and maintainable Salesforce solutions, including integrations with third-party applications. Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce development, deployment, and DevOps strategies. Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations on Salesforce configurations, customizations, and enhancements. Technical Leadership & Development: Provide technical expertise and leadership to developers, administrators, and other stakeholders. Guide the implementation of Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Oversee the development lifecycle, including code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, data governance, and security standards. Business Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with business teams to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing, IT) to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives. Integration & Data Management: Lead Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications such as ERP, marketing automation, and data platforms. Define data models, migration strategies, and governance policies to maintain data integrity. Optimize Salesforce performance and scalability through efficient database architecture and automation. Understand Mizuho OSI’s business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work. Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards). Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years of experience of related experience with increasing level of responsibility in Salesforce architecture, development, and solution design. Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect preferred. Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs . Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, Experience Cloud, and Platform Development . Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems (ERP, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, etc.). Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, and Salesforce deployment strategies (SFDX, Git, Jenkins, Copado). Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Salesforce security best practices . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Jitterbit, Mulesoft, ETL tools, or middleware platforms . Knowledge of AI-powered Salesforce solutions (Einstein, Agentforce, Data Cloud). Background in multi-cloud Salesforce environments (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, etc.). Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies .
