Job Description POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY Execute timely the operation works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified operation standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned. Work within expense limits established. Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program". Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled. Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance. Monitor and maintain all equipment as assigned. Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. Maintain a professional courteous manner with other employees, passengers, vendors and contractors Assure safety standards are used which comply with all the requirements guidelines. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner. Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Guidebook. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
