Your Contribution As an employee in work preparation with a focus on soldering processes (m/f/d) , you will take on a key role in the planning, costing, and continuous optimization of our manufacturing processes in the field of cooling and air conditioning. Continuous optimization of furnace technology and soldering processes, including associated fixtures Influence the design of products to ensure they are suitable and optimized for soldering, in close collaboration with design engineering Conduct root cause analyses for soldering defects and derive and implement appropriate corrective actions Document analysis results and optimization measures Monitor and ensure stable process control of soldering systems Create and adjust programs for soldering processes (e.g., batch changes or new products) Perform visual inspections of solder joints as part of sampling procedures Create and maintain work plans including process sequences and time specifications Apply lean management methods (e.g., value stream design, 5S) to optimize production processes Conduct economic efficiency analyses and implement process optimizations and rationalization measures Support new product launches and series production Work closely with quality management, especially in P-FMEA and failure analyses, and implement optimization measures Participate in workplace design and layout planning Your Experience and Qualifications Successfully completed technical degree (minimum four-year university education, e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science) Professional experience in work preparation or industrial engineering Experience in optimizing soldering processes (high-vacuum soldering systems) Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles Strong technical and commercial understanding Structured, analytical, and independent working style Team player with strong communication skills Experience with SAP Fluent German and good English skills (spoken and written) #TeamMAHLE is diverse and we see that as a great advantage!
