ABOUT THE JOB Ingenico Android Competence Center (ACC) is responsible for building and maintaining Android-based payment software used across multiple regions worldwide. We are looking for a Mid-level Android Developer to join our engineering team in Hanoi. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative Android payment solutions and work closely with experienced engineers, project leads, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for Android engineers looking to deepen their technical expertise while working on products used by customers across multiple regions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications and software components. Participate in requirements analysis, technical discussions, and solution design activities. Collaborate with product owners, project leads, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices. Contribute to software architecture discussions, design improvements, and technical innovation initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining system performance and reliability. Support software releases and continuous improvement activities. Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative and learning-focused engineering culture. REQUIREMENTS Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Language : Able to communicate in English for work purposes. Experience & Technical Skills From 3 years of software development experience. Hands-on experience in Android application development. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Experience participating in requirement analysis and effort estimation activities. Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Jira, and Jenkins. Ability to independently develop and deliver assigned features with good code quality. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with payment systems, fintech products, POS solutions, or Android-based embedded devices. Experience working in an international or distributed development environment.
